So you don’t run out of coffee over the holiday period please note that the last La Mai coffee roast for 2023 will be done on Monday 18th December. This means that orders need to be in by lunchtime on that day.
Our first roast for 2024 will be done on 9th January and orders need to be received by lunchtime on that day. We are then back to normal weekly ordering.
Any standing orders that are sent automatically which are due during this time period will be sent out prior to Christmas. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like your order put on hold over the holiday period.
Order by lunchtime Monday: Because we strive to deliver our coffee to you as fresh as possible, we keep a limited amount of stock on hand and prefer to get it freshly roasted each week to fulfil the orders we have. The roast order is placed with Coffee Worx (our roasters) at lunch time each Monday so if your order is received after that we cannot guarantee you will receive it that week.
When you can expect your coffee: The roasted coffee is delivered to us late Tuesday afternoon, is packaged up and collected by the courier on Wednesday. If you have ordered 1 kg of coffee or less this will be sent via a Courier Post bag and is usually delivered the next day, i.e. Thursday. For larger quantities, these are sent via Castle Parcels which is overnight delivery within the South Island but takes two days to the North Island (delivered on Friday). These parcels do need to be signed for so please ensure there will be someone at the delivery address you provide.
